AMALA IMS became one of the frontrunners in Gastroenterology, with the setting up of the department in April 1996. The department was upgraded to Amala Gastro Centre in 2019. On 2nd August 2025, the department opened a new clinic-”Amala  Gastro Super specialty Clinic” located in the heart of Pattikad ,Thrissur. The clinic offers services to ensure the highest standard of care.
