The esteemed Governor of Maharashtra, Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, graced the occasion as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the facility. The event also marked the observance of Research Day at the institution, during which 25 distinguished researchers from Amala were honored for their groundbreaking contributions to medical science. Integrated medical research represents a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to addressing complex health challenges by combining expertise from diverse fields. While traditional medical education and research have primarily focused on specialized areas such as surgery, pharmacology, and pathology, the evolving landscape of modern healthcare necessitates a more holistic perspective.
