Facilities

In addition to the routine ophthalmic outpatient clinic, the department conducts the following speciality clinics:

» Diabetic eye screening

» Glaucoma screening

» Squint clinic

» Oculoplasty & orbit

» Contact lens clinic

» Community ophthalmology clinic & eye camps

» Ophthalmic trauma clinic

The following surgical procedures are performed routinely:

» Keyhole cataract surgery including phaeco emulsification

» Secondary intraocular lens implantation (including scleral fixation)

» Glaucoma surgeries

» Corneal transplantation

» Squint surgery

» Oculoplastic procedures

» Lacrimal sac surgery

» Ocular surface reconstruction and Amniotic membrane transplantation

» Microsurgical repair of ocular trauma
